I'm Bobbie Schlein, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator, Level 2 trained Gottman Therapist and doctoral candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy. I specialize in helping couples strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and navigate life's transitions with confidence and connection.
The arrival of a baby is one of the most meaningful changes a couple can experience, but it can also bring unexpected stress, conflict, and emotional challenges. Research shows that relationship satisfaction often declines after the birth of a child, making it more important than ever for couples to nurture their relationship during this transition intentionally.
Through the evidence-based Bringing Baby Home program, developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, I help expectant and new parents build the skills needed to maintain a strong partnership while embracing their new roles as parents.
Participants learn practical strategies to strengthen friendship, communicate effectively, manage conflict constructively, support one another emotionally, and create a healthy, secure environment for their growing family.
In my private practice, I work extensively with couples experiencing communication difficulties, conflict, trust concerns, and life transitions. My clinical approach is grounded in research and tailored to each couple's unique strengths, values, and goals. I am passionate about empowering couples with practical tools they can use long after the workshop ends.
My mission is simple: to help couples build resilient relationships that provide a loving, stable foundation for their children. I believe that when parents feel connected, supported, and understood, the entire family benefits.
It would be an honor to be part of your journey into parenthood and help you create a strong foundation for the years ahead.
